Über NGL
NGL Naxos Global Logistics was founded in 2008 as a successor to MVD Music and Video Distribution to offer logistical services to the Naxos Music Group Right from the beginning however, NGL sought to offer services to third party clients as well and could already count significant music labels to its partners, such as Opus Arte and Profil Medien. In the following years the number of music labels working with NGL grew rapidly.
Soon after the start NGL started offering fulfillment services to distributors as well. This part of the business has since grown continually and in order to tackle these new developments as well as possible, NGL moved its warehouse to the current location in Poing, near Munich, in 2013. At this point in time, NGL’s clients comprised already nearly 150 music labels and 5 fulfillment clients. Today, over 200 music labels, 10 distributors and several clients from other industries count on NGL’s services.
Over time, NGL’s circle of clients has outgrown the music industry and NGL now offers services for countless different types of products and industries. These include media publishers, mail-order and online retailers for books and other media, electronics, car and motorcycle parts and home wear, as well as clients from the fashion industry. The pallet of types of products, which NGL is fit to handle, is ever increasing and by now there are no limits for NGL’s clients as to their industry or business branch.
